About the author

Author Student Mother Teacher

Cathy has an associate degree in Liberal Arts, a BA in Creative Writing and English with a minor in Art History, and a BA in History from Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently enrolled in a Creative Writing MFA program at SNHU with a focus on contemporary fiction. She is also a member of the Author’s Guild and the National Writer’s Union.

She is 41 years old and a mother of 4. She is also a grandmother of four beautiful children and one angel baby. She is raising 2 kids with ADHD and a toddler with developmental delays/autism.

When she isn’t running her house, taking care of her children, or working, Cathy is busy tapping away at her keyboard, writing her next great novel.

Cathy spends her working hours doing freelance writing and editing. In the past, she has worked with domestic violence survivors, as an elementary school librarian and a substitute teacher.

Her hobbies include reading, writing, playing games (Animal Crossing and The Sims 3/4), and watching cooking shows (Food Network, Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef). Recently, she has started learning to paint and take photographs.

Her life has been filled with chaos and love, tragedy and beauty. She hopes to share some of her journeys and experiences with you through this blog. Thank you for taking the time to get to know her! She looks forward to getting to know you.
