Cathy has an associate degree in Liberal Arts, a BA in Creative Writing and English with a minor in Art History, a BA in History, and an MFA in creative writing with a focus on contemporary fiction from Southern New Hampshire University. She is also a member of the Author’s Guild and the National Writers Union.

She is 44 years old and a mother of 4. She is also a grandmother of four beautiful children and one angel baby. While only one child remains at home, Cathy is a devoted mother and grandmother and spends time with her family as often as possible.

When she isn’t running her house, taking care of her children, or working, Cathy can be found working on creative projects, either painting, baking, or tapping away at her keyboard, writing her next great novel.

Cathy spends her working hours doing freelance writing and editing. In the past, Cathy has held many jobs but some of her favorites were working with domestic violence survivors, elementary school librarian, and a substitute teacher.

When there is time for gaming, Cathy can be found in the Wastelands of Fallout 76, the lush Islands of Animal Crossing, or creating elixers in Moonlight Falls in Sims 3.

Cathy likes to dabble in many hobbies, including digital photography, creating TikToks of her wasteland adventures, painting with a wide variety of mediums, and reading. She enjoys books about WWII, cozy Christmas romances, and the classics, but she explores the stacks for new books often and never stays limited by genre.

No stranger to tragedy and resistance, Cathy is a tenacious writer, devoted mother, and the biggest cheerleader for her friends! Despite her introverted nature and preference to be invisible, Cathy is excited to share her inner world with her readers.
