In my head, I scream and cry
hurl things at the walls
sever connections out of spite
They never stop
the onslaught of voices

Author’s note: While this is an older piece, it still resonates with me. Living with BPD, Autism, ADHD, C-PTSD, anxiety, and depression is a noisy way to exist. The intrusive thoughts cause me to often consider checking out of life rather than continuing the struggle. This year has been particularly hard on me, and these words still ring true to the things going on in my head.
