In a Mother’s Words

You’re so small and helpless

In a world so big and full.

You look to me for guidance

And protection from all harm.

You know I’ll always be here,

Standing by your side.

Sometimes you may wish

That I would just disappear

But I could never leave you

So alone or so afraid.

It is when you need me most

That you will understand

Just how much I love you,

And just how much I care.

One day you will have your own

Children to hold and love,

Then you will see just how special

Life is whn you’re a mother.
